At the regional level, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) recently opened applications for its Youth Capacity Enhancement Programme on Climate Mobility in Africa. According to the IOM, the initiative seeks to help communities cope with severe environmental degradation, droughts, and floods that drive forced displacement.
