FAM Launches FIFA Club Management Workshop as NDL Prepares for Matchweek Two

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has launched a two-day FIFA Essential Courses in Club Management workshop in Lilongwe to improve football governance and business operations. According to the Football Association of Malawi, the training began on Thursday, May 21, bringing together representatives from FDH Bank Premiership clubs, the NBM Women's Premiership, and the Super League of Malawi Secretariat. FAM President Fleetwood Haiya stated that sound financial management and strategic leadership are necessary for clubs to grow and compete professionally.

In domestic league action, Chilobwe United is preparing to host FOMO FC at Mpira Stadium during Matchweek Two of the NBS Bank National Division League, according to Maravi Express. Chilobwe United, a newly promoted side from the Southern Region, is looking to secure points after a narrow 3-2 defeat against Mighty Tigers in their opening match. The Tigers currently lead the league standings on goal difference following the first round of fixtures.
