Malawian artists have treated fans to a wave of fresh local music this weekend. According to the Malawian music platform Amati Zambiri, several new singles were released on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The latest drops include Chpachpa's track "Sindiulula", Prodem27's "Sinkumvetsa", and Blino Cynic's "Silver ndi Golide", adding to a busy month for the country's urban music scene.

In festival and cultural news, a major religious gathering wrapped up in the Northern Region. The two-day Malawi Crusade held in Chitipa concluded on May 24, 2026. As seen on New Life TV KENYA broadcasts, the weekend event featured various live gospel music performances and community worship, drawing widespread participation both in person and online.

Meanwhile, local sporting celebrities have been using their platforms for community outreach. According to Nyasa Times, the Football Legends Association visited Dzama Village in Lilongwe District over the weekend to donate clothing to the Mai Mbambande Foundation. The charitable organisation currently cares for more than 70 elderly residents under Traditional Authority Chitukula. Association officials stated that the donation was made possible through a partnership with Finish Line Ministries and forms part of their broader commitment to supporting vulnerable citizens.
