The government has finalized the paperwork for the construction of Mombera University in Mzimba, according to Malawi24. Second Vice President Enoch Chihana confirmed that the project is now awaiting approval from the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority. The government will contribute K14 billion to the project, with private sector investments expected to exceed K300 billion to develop the surrounding area into a university town with essential amenities.
