The Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Research Programme (MLW) will close applications for its 2025/2026 Master's Tuition Scholarships on Monday, April 6, 2026, according to the official MLW website. The scholarship programme targets Malawian students pursuing health-related research at public institutions, including the University of Malawi (UNIMA), Mzuzu University (MZUNI), Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), and the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). According to the application guidelines, candidates must be actively employed on an existing research grant and provide a supervisor support letter confirming their stipend and research funding to qualify.
Meanwhile, the Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU) will also close its admission window for the April to July 2026 semester on April 6, 2026, according to the university's online application portal. The current intake focuses on the University Certificate of Education programmes, with available specialisations in Science, Literature and Linguistics, and Humanities. According to MAGU, successful applicants will begin their academic classes on April 7, 2026, at both the Lilongwe and Blantyre campuses.
