Update: Following earlier coverage of Malawian artists dropping new music this month, the local entertainment sector has seen another wave of fresh singles hitting digital platforms this week. According to Malawian music platform Amati Zambiri, hip-hop artist Gwamba released a new track titled "Alole" on April 9, featuring collaborations with musicians Kineo and Teddy Makadi.
Two days prior, on April 7, other local artists also debuted new music. Collie Dizy launched a track titled "Zandikwana" featuring Jay Wizzy, while Cizo released a single called "Heartbeat". These tracks are actively being distributed across regional streaming platforms to promote Malawian urban music to wider audiences across Southern Africa.
