About this CourseZa Phunziroli

Form 1 Life Skills introduces secondary school students to the knowledge, attitudes and practical skills needed to live healthy, responsible and productive lives. The course covers self-awareness and self-esteem, the physical and emotional changes of adolescence, nutrition and personal hygiene, common illnesses, HIV and AIDS facts and prevention, personal values and resisting peer pressure, age-appropriate sex and sexuality education, healthy gender relationships, and an introduction to entrepreneurship and the world of work in Malawi. Fully bilingual (English and Chichewa) and based on the Malawi Institute of Education Life Skills Syllabus for Forms 1 and 2.
